Brief your Expert:

The brief is the most important starting point for the expert to commence engagement and get traction. Analysis of the case file in line with their area of expertise, case strategy, requirement & scope early in the process is crucial. The briefing process is multi-phased. Concert mandates that all briefs are given both verbally with the engaging parties and then followed by detailed written instructions outlining the obligations of the expert, the scope of the engagement, the issues arising from the dispute including any supporting artifacts or information required, available or requested, to initiate the process.

A project manager will work alongside the Expert and legal team to ensure project commencement and integration are seamless, so as to achieve maximum traction in the shortest period of time. The detail, the quality of information and data captured and the format in which the brief is presented is critical to the outputs in the experts report. Concert can provide all necessary guidance, documentation and process to ensure this is approached with integrity, and that clear representation of findings, facts, evidence and opinion contained within the experts report link to all court documents relevant to proceedings with a supporting audit trail.
